Question 1

Do listeners need an account to join a room?

Accepted Answer

No. Listeners just click your room link on any smartphone, tablet, or computer and immediately hear the music in real-time sync without creating an account or downloading an app.

Question 2

How does real-time synchronization work?

Accepted Answer

The host acts as the authoritative master clock. Resonia coordinates playback state and position through Cloudflare Durable Objects in Edge RAM under 15 milliseconds, with adaptive client-side drift compensation and hardware pitch preservation.

Question 3

What audio formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

Resonia supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC, and OGG files. Audio streams directly from Cloudflare R2 edge storage with native HTTP 206 byte-range pre-buffering.

Question 4

Can audio continue playing when a mobile phone screen is locked?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Resonia uses a passive cache preloader engine on Chrome Android and Safari iOS to pre-warm upcoming tracks in browser cache, preventing mobile operating systems from freezing background playback when the screen is locked.

Question 5

What is the difference between Community Free and Creator Pro?

Accepted Answer

Community Free provides 1 active room, 10 listeners, 1 GB storage, and 24-hour room lifespan. Creator Pro unlocks up to 5 concurrent active rooms, 100 listeners per room, 15 GB total storage (up to 3 GB per room), custom vanity room links, password protection, and permanent 24/7 rooms.
